Pat Quinlan, President

Pat is our Canadian connection and arrived in Christchurch to attend Teachers College. He has since completed his degree and is now pursuing a teaching career. Pat has a wealth of experience in lacrosse both playing and coaching and is passionate about teaching The Game.

Margot Brown, Secretary/Treasurer

Originally from Southland, New Zealand Margot is interested in a number of activities including Basketball, netball, hiking and skiing. She started playing lacrosse in Sydney and represented a developing NSW squad in the early 1990's. Margot has spent most of her years working and travelling including London, Europe, Australia and the USA where she spent the better part of 15 years in Boulder, Colorado. Upon her return to NZ in 2008 Margot has been coaching youth lacrosse in the Christchurch schools. She loves to see kids active and having fun with any kind of sport.

Ed Shaw, Club Captain

Originally from Manchester in the UK (the hot bed of English Lacrosse) and not to mention football. Ed has played lacrosse since he was 11 years old for club and representative County teams. He has coached youth in football and lacrosse and is a great asset to the Roar Team. He arrived in Christchurch November 2009 and has been involved with Lacrosse in Canterbury since then. He is a civil engineer by trade and learns Japanese in his spare time. He is a keen coach and plays lacrosse whenever possible, you can spot him on the lacrosse field in his Rooney football jersey most days!

Taylor Konowe, Junior Rep

Taylor is our Junior Rep and was recently selected for the U15 New Zealand development Team, he is attending Christchurch Boys High School, originally from Virginia, USA one of the largest hot beds for US lacrosse.
