It always amazes me how we in the South Island are the last to know anything about  what is going on with NZ Lacrosse. And here I am on the NZ Lacrosse website today and see this little news item "NZ Womens' Lacrosse World Cup Squad 2013". 

NZ Lacrosse is now taking applications for the New Zealand women's lacrosse world team for 2013. You can visit the NZ Lacrosse website to find out more details. The wesbite has an application form you can download. It'll cost you $200 to put forward an application and is due in by September 12th 2010. Not much time so be fast. Applications will be reviewed and you will be contacted by Sept 30th.

 The Blax Training Squad(as they are called) will have their first training weekend 6 & 7th of November according to the application form with final announcement for the team to be made January 2013. If you are in the current U19 team you may not enter an applicaiton until after the World U19 in 2011.
